This exhibition follows our earlier video release on the ancient kilns of Japan. Focusing on the Bizen, Iga, Shigaraki and Tamba regions renowned for their unglazed and natural ash-glazed ceramics, the show will include vessels by contemporary ceramists, ICHINO Masahiko (b.1961), KOHYAMA Yasuhisa (b.1936), MORI Tôgaku (b.1937), NISHIHATA Tadashi (b. 1948), ÔMICHI Masao (b.1945), and TANIMOTO Kei (b.1948) as well as works by modern masters KOYAMA Fujio (1900-1975) and KITAÔJI Rosanjin (1883-1959).
