Garden of Color: The Ceramic Art of Takegoshi Jun

Joan B. Mirviss Ltd is pleased to present the work of the celebrated Japanese ceramic artist Takegoshi Jun at the International Asian Art Fair. Titled "Hôjô no irodori/ Garden of Color: The Ceramic Art of Takegoshi Jun," the exhibition will feature masterworks highlighting his best forms and motifs, all derived from nature. Works by Takegoshi grace important Japanese collections and museums as well as major Western institutions such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Over the past thirty-three years, he has been honored with countless awards and prizes. This will be his first solo exhibition in the United States.
