Some of this fair's clarity results from stalls devoted exclusively or primarily to the efforts of one maker. Joan B. Mirviss has a taste-shifting display of the encrusted, elaboratively flanged ceramics of Koike Shōko, a revered Japanese artist in her late 60s who looks to coral and seashells for inspiration.
